When dusk falls and the mist steals in with ease, I
think on thee, In a realm far beyond thine.
Eating on empty plates
drinking from drained glasses.
In the silent hours of the day, the restless moments
of the night when sleep won't come I can always hear
thy ringing laughter.
A fallen angel in all thine splendour.
Thy beauty outshine even the glamorous Moon.
Maybe it is the way thy eyes sparkle, maybe
it is how thy hair blow in a soft
breeze, whatever it
helps me through a darkened world.
Silence sweeps in whirls of emptiness
in my little kingdom. Thorns of grief entwinted by the
moonlight glimmer. My blood and tears blend into one another
Arise from thy slumber in my arms. In the meadows of
heaven, we run through the stars. We burn in our lust.
We die in our eyes and drown in our arms.
